The IT Officer will manage the overall technology infrastructure for the BEST Office including planning, implementation and management of the software applications and hardware infrastructure that support operations. The IT Officer will be involved in systems administration including: general computer support; upgrades; software installations; license management; server set up and management; network and printer support; deployment of equipment; management of inventories; and end user support.

About the role
The Curriculum Development Specialist will report to the the BEST Curriculum and Assessment Subcomponent Manager and will work closely with colleagues and partners from the Department of Education (DepEd), Bureau of Curriculum Development (BCD).

The Curriculum Development Specialist will serve as the main resource person in capacity-building activities that include monitoring of improved performance of the BCD specialists.

About the role
You will support BEST and the DepED Planning Service in the delivery of results in the area of planning and budgeting as indicated in the program Theory of Change. You will provide technical advice and support for development and enhancements of planning and budgeting framework and processes at DepEd. 
  
You will report to the BEST Policy, Planning and M&E Sub-Component Manager under the direction of the Component Lead for Governance, Knowledge and Innovation. You will work in close collaboration with DepEd’s Planning Service Director, the Planning Service’s Planning and Programming Division (PPD-PS) also assisting in the development of linkages with other departmental implementing units with planning and budgeting responsibilities.

Change Management Specialist

About the role

The Change Management Consultant will report to the BEST Education Management Information System Specialist. He/she will work closely with the BEST-UIS Technical Advisers in charge of the information systems that will be transitioned; technical advisers for managing user support and capacity building programs.

The consultancy will be conducted over the period September 2017 to May 2018.  This will entail an initial input of up to two months full-time followed by regular intermittent four months input to support the transition team.
