COMPONENT 1: TEACHING AND LEARNING
The LAC Coordinator would manage and coordinate BEST support for LAC development across the LAC content themes: Content & Pedagogy; Learning & Diversity and Inclusion and K-12 Learning Assessment & Professional Support. An initial task will be to review the current progress of the LAC themes and LAC progress to date and align to the new implementation strategy developed by the LAC Lead, Teacher Development Manager and Component Lead Teaching and Learning.
COMPONENT 2: GOVERNANCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND INNOVATION
The Data Analyst will support the Program Planning, M&E, and Reporting Manager in monitoring and ensuring high quality and timely program outputs. She/he will also help ensure that program implementation remains strategic and that intended outputs and outcomes are achieved.
The Resource Person/ Facilitator is responsible for conducting in-depth discussion and structured learning exercises on the vital contents of the Department of Education's Planning and Budgeting Strategy Paper (PBSP) and how these are operationalized in the different governance levels. The RP/Facilitator is expected to assist the learning process of the Central Office and Regional DepEd participants in understanding better and in applying the concepts, tools and practical application of the planning system vis-à-vis budgeting and its vertical and horizontal linkages.
This engagement purports to hire a Documenter for the National ToT on Facilitation involving selected DepEd regional and sub-regional personnel scheduled for 10-12 April 2018 in Metro Manila. The Documenter is expected to prepare and package a comprehensive Documentation Report of the 3-day NTOT proceedings complete with photo documentation. Attached is the TOR for your reference.
The Capacity Development Specialist will be responsible for the preparation of the overall design for the conduct of sessions to implement the capacity building session on facilitation. This includes taking stock of the different learning needs of participants as well as specific interventions to enable them in becoming effective facilitators. The main objective of the engagement is to support BEST’s initiatives to build, strengthen, and capacitate relevant DepEd units and personnel involved in conducting and managing research and policy development, planning systems development, school-based management, and monitoring and evaluation.
