21st May, 12am SMEA Workshop for Schools SDO of Camarines Norte This activity is aimed at providing technical assistance to the school heads in the elementary and secondary levels of the Schools Division of Camarines Norte iin setting up their respective schools monitoring and evaluation system by employing the MEA technology. Further, the results of the workshop will be used to adjust their AIP/SIP. Moreover this activity will also form part of the institutionalization mechanism of the MEA technology. This will serve as a mentoring session to the other SDO staff in facilitating SMEA activities as they will serve as facilitators to this activity.

22nd May, 12am Master Planning 3 Batch 2 (Luzon Cluster) Through this Activity, the existing T&D System will be enhanced into a Learning and Development (L&D) System to emphasize the following: • Strengthening the alignment of L&D activities with the strategic directions of the Department • Alignment with newly developed competency standards i.e. Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST) • Shared responsibility and accountability between and among the leaders and staff in ensuring continuous professional development of the department’s human resource • Continuous improvement of programs, processes, practices through quality assurance mechanisms and monitoring and evaluation.
22nd May, 12am TA Support to the CB of PPRD and SDO in the Appraisal of Education Development Plans/Strategic Plans: Phase 3 The PPRD DepEd Region 7 have guided the six (6) NIR SDOs the 1st and 2nd phases of planning namely, situational analysis and strategic planning processes, respectively. PPRD needs to ensure that the draft plans prepared by these SDOs are relevant to the needs and requirements of the schools and it considers the capacity of the SDO to implement the plans that were based on solid facts and data driven situational analysis. Likewise, it needs to ensure that the plans are aligned and contributing to the commitments of the RO to the targets of the education sub sector to the current Philippine Development Plans. The TA support intends to strengthen the capacity of PPRD staff in managing the appraisal system of the DEDP. Using available resource materials and expertise of BEST and experiences of the staff, PPRD will implement the appraisal of the DEDPs. The preparatory work was conducted and attended by key technical staff of PPRD held last May 3, 2018 at the BEST Office. The pre-work meeting resulted to the agreement of the processes that will be followed during the activity. In addition to the orientation and resource materials on appraisal of plans provided by BEST, PPRD shall also provide additional inputs to finalize the appraisal system. The draft appraisal shall be further validated with the participants and the division technical panel (to be convened during the activity).

A strong "nexus" ensures that each governance level is able to make timely adjustments regarding policies and systems that affect schooling of learners and that DepED Region 10 level is also able to generate immediate feedback on the efficiency of its programs
